The start of a new video project....

"You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whether it's building a better car or building a better future for our children, we all have a role to play. "   Lee  Iacocca  - "Where have all the Leaders Gone" - 2008

Perhaps like many of you, I have been waiting for that "role to play" to show up in my life as I listen to continuous news of economic woes and upcoming change and challenges.  I keep thinking surely I will get some guidance from somewhere and then I can choose my path, that once I see a direction, once I get a handle on what is happening,  then I will know what action I need to take.

When I read the article that accompanied Lee Iacocca's words above, I felt a connection . Iacocca is now 82 years old  and has a new book, 'Where Have All The Leaders Gone?

The premise for this video project is that most of us  - individuals, couples, families -  want to do something positive, helpful, empowering -  and  become involved as we transcend this upcoming period of change -  yet we are not sure just how that  looks.

I feel that hearing and seeing  "what" and/or "how" those who have already identified and placed into action a plan  for dealing with the economics of today could help others begin to join in.

I am looking for individuals, families, couples who have chosen to do something - anything - but something.  I am looking for the story on "what you decided to do"  as well as the story of how you made that decision - the process you went through.  I want to record the stories into short video segments (1 - 3 minutes), the idea being that others viewing these short clips (probably on YouTube or some other internet media location) will gain insight into how they can formulate a plan and place it into action.

If you have made some choices and changes in your life, life style, daily living  to adapt to these changing social and economic times (however big or small that may look like to you) and you feel you would like to share those changes with others  - please email me.
