Creating an AutoPlay DVD   (getting rid of that BIG OLD ARROW)

Of course the easiest way is just check AUTOPLAY in the DVD authoring menu.  However, iff you don't like that big old arrow that shows up at the start of an autoplay DVD

A Simple Instruction -
  • Edit the DVD menu (it can be transparent, blank, whatever you want).
  • Create a normal button in the DVD menu that you assign the autoplay. You will want to hide it in a corner and don't assign any active color and you will not see it (if you don't want anything visible). It can be a period or anything you want that can be hidden.  Just a little black DVD menu with one invisible menu button assigned to a chapter and a short autoplay will do the job.
  • In Links, link the normal button to the start of the video in the timeline.
  • In Links, check the autoplay for that chapter
  • Set the autotimer (above the viewer on the left side) to 0 or some short period

Another

Tip  In the Export to DVD  process - If the autoplay check box is checked (export to DVD) and if no autoplay is selected through the menu buttons (DVD wizard) the menu itself will loop until the time in the autotimer (input box above the viewer in the DVD authoring process) is expired and then just play the first chapter through the last.  Refer to page 854 of the online manual.
