| A. I love Mix-Automation for this. Play the TL and in RT mix the
audio across multiple tracks. even if its not perfect, you can easily go
back and make a few small mods where needed.
Then if the entire audio (or parts) need to be raised or lowered
you can Select all the clips, right click, and use "Adjust Audio
Levels" and globally raise/lower. It even gives you the Max and Minus
for the global range. Brad Swenson
A2. I open the Audio Tool (click on the fader/meter icon at the lower
right of the Liquid screen) and watch the level as I play each clip.
Then, I right-click on the clip and select "Adjust Audio" and set the
right level based on the peaks and valleys on the meter. Doing that for
each clip individually is about the easiest way I can think of unless
you really need to do a continuous mix as Brad mentioned. You can
select multiple clips and use Adjust Audio on all at once, too.
I'd use the Maximizer if I were to choose an effect in Liquid. The
Leveler when I've tested it took out all the dynamics (or practically
all). The Maximizer acts more like a limiter and gives more natural
results. You could try both to see which you like better.
There are several ways to handle this problem and each one has
advantages and disadvantages for any given situation. You might even
want to use a combination of methods for some cases. Scott Myers
